Bank branch codes & SWIFT/BIC
A six-digit branch code and a SWIFT/BIC identify different payment details. Apply each code only within its cited account/payment scope. A bank-described universal code does not establish universal applicability across other banks or payment products. Use your bank’s instructions when a form asks for a branch-specific code.

Bank status and name changes
Old Mutual reports that its legacy Money Account closed from midnight on 31 August 2026, with access and transacting unavailable from 1 September. No legacy Money Account code is listed here. The separate OM Bank’s current code remains under verification.

Sasfin reports that it relinquished its banking licence on 30 June 2026 and that the cancellation was gazetted on 17 July 2026. Its former bank code is excluded from this current-code guide.
